IN THE CUP

As an espresso, this coffee delivers a rich, full-bodied cup with a lingering, satisfying finish. Its sweetness and depth reveal notes of dark chocolate and cola candy, creating a smooth and indulgent experience. Brewed as a filter, the cup shows excellent clarity and balance, highlighting layers of crisp apple, subtle spice, and a refined sweetness that reflects the careful processing at Finca El Jardín.

STORY BEHIND THE CUP  

Nestled among native shade trees in the highlands of La Paz, Honduras, Finca El Jardín embodies balance between innovation and ecology. Sitting between 1,300 and 1,500 meters above sea level, the farm’s diverse microclimate and rich volcanic soil nurture varieties such as Parainema and other experimental hybrids.

Producer Mario Mejía applies agroforestry practices and slow-drying methods that enhance both cup quality and environmental health. The result is an elegant, layered coffee with notes of tropical fruit, herbal spice, and a silky texture — a reflection of Mario’s commitment to craftsmanship and sustainability.
